I searched quite some time but have not come across a similar case. Since it worked previously, I believe that I did something wrong or it is a Windows problem. I changed the new SSDs Sata Port, disconnected DVD Drives and one of the older HDDs, but no change. The add to library process simply adds details of those images to darktable’s library database (and creates an XMP sidecar file if applicable) allowing the images to be viewed and developed. I can only access local folders on C: but not if I click on C:, only if I click on subfolders like home or downloads. Note: Add to library does not create duplicates of your image files in a separate folder structure but processes them in-situ. When I now want to import from a folder which is on another drive, I would open the Import Modlue / folder and click on the desired HDD / SSD, however, I do not see the file structure of any disk disk. To speed up the system I added a larger SSD, uninstalled DR completely and reinstalled 2.4.3.

My C drive is a rather small SSD, two older 500GB HDDs for Data and lager Programs. Thanks for that great piece of Software and please excuse if I ask a question which could be answered already somewhere, however I have not found a sound answer.
